A tasty dish to use for family dinners or potluck fun with friends and relatives. You can make it with a variety of meats; ham, turkey, chicken, salmon or vegetarian by choice of vegetables. Also one way to utilize any leftover meats from the holiday meals. ~ Cheers!
10potatoes,peeled and thinly sliced 2large carrots, shredded 1cupof meat/veggies cut in small cubes 2 cups of cream black pepper + salt Gruyère, or other cheese by choice, mixed in (paprika powder, and other spices to taste) butter flakes on top
Mix the ingredients together, and place in a buttered oven dish. Layer the vegetables and meat if so desired. Add flakes of butter and a bit of the cheese onto the top. Bake in 200 C ~400 F oven with a foil on top for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking until potatoes are soft and done, for about 15-20 minutes. Let it sit and cool for five minutes before serving
