The Valentine Valley with its lovely inhabitants, the Widow's, the families, the circle of friends, it is a tight knit group, that lives and love, and support each other. The whole concept of 'it takes a village' is truly lived with this community, and they made me smile, what a joy! Tony and Kate were each others first love, and after spending some time together again, those old feelings started to burn anew. I liked that they had the chance to talk about the old times, heal old hurts and misunderstandings. It was a delight to watch their relationship form again, in a new and more open platform. It was adorable, passionate, charming, and captivating, but also a bit painful to go through the old history to make it right again. I wanted to see them happily together again, as a family. This story shoots right to your heart, and takes a hold, it made me smile, laugh, and tear up, and have a long, happy sigh at the end. A perfect read over the holidays ~ Five spoons!
