Dark, dangerous, and edgy story of survival, and love that can survive the unthinkable.
This story goes deeper than many others, it touched my emotions and it took over my thoughts, and will stay with me for a long while.
The setting is different from many other books, Declan and Sabrina are happily, if secretly, married, until the horrors and hell step into their lives in an unimaginable way. The results of the hell on earth puts love, trust, and loyalty to question. The story is so raw, gut- and heart-wrenching, I had pain in the pit of my stomach through most of the story.
The action is bold, fierce, and violent. The images are so vivid and the pain so intense. The loyalties and honesty are suspicious, the betrayals run deep, and close to the heart of the main characters.
This story blew me away. It is beautiful, passionate, guttering, and anguishing. It is heartbreaking, and tragic, but at the end, after all the agony, it shows that true love can survive the unimaginable. With high recommendations, I think this is the must read of all suspense lovers ~ Five spoons!
