Ever since Landon put Emma's father in prison. Now, her father has escaped from the federal prison, and all the eyes are on Emma, but none so much than Landon's. And just when Landon starts to think there's more into the case than he has thought of before, things get complicated. And Landon and Emma are just pieces of a puzzle in a game, where they seem to be a way over their heads. I enjoyed the author's humorous style of writing, the story flows out smoothly, and the tension rises as the terrorist plot with their games. With just enough surprises and twists in the plot, the story kept me guessing and wondering what will happen next. The emotions are running high, fear, anxiety, concern, and the ever present desire Landon and Emma have for each other. And when the tough cop Landon falls, it is completely. When they finally come together, and pretty much trash a hotel room, it is hot, sensual, steamy, and feverous. But the bliss can't last forever, since the terrorist still holds the strings, and they can't get out of that hold, without blood being shed and sacrifices being made.
