From USA Today bestselling author Laura Drewry comes a warm and witty new Friends First novel—perfect for readers of Jill Shalvis and Susan Mallery. How Forever Feels is a sweet tale about the one that got away . . . and the one that came back.

Maya McKay’s heart is as big as Jack Rhodes’s shoulders are broad. Their chemistry is out of control, but it could never work between them because Jack is more than just best friends with her cheating ex-husband—they’re like brothers. Maya, the sensitive, practical florist, has given up on love and is ready to settle for like. But now that Jack’s around again, he’s stirring up old feelings—and turning Maya’s fantasies into irresistible reality.

Jack blew his chance with Maya years ago when he stepped aside for his best friend, Will, and he’s still kicking himself about it. Maya was promised forever once before, and she got burned. But when Jack realizes that second chances aren’t going to fall out of the sky, he seizes the moment—and the woman he’s always loved—to show her how forever truly feels.

I love the story line, from best friends to lovers, there's always so much more into a relationship, when they are based on a solid friendship.
Maya and Jack had been friends for four years, but there was so much more in between them. The connection between them is real, strong, and beautiful. But the possible drama that the relationship would cost to Jack, with his former foster family, Maya's ex in-laws, is just too much.
I love both Jack and Maya. Jack is a gentle giant, with a kind, caring heart. He grew up in the worst possible kind of environment, until he was saved by a loving family. Too bad that family ended up being Maya's in-law for a short while.
Maya is strong, capable, a little spitfire. The divorce hit her hard, all she wanted was a forever kind of love and a family of her own. But Will turned out to be a cheater. And then it looked like she lost her friend, Jack, as well.
The group of friends that has formed into their little family, is full of great energy, and fun, giving the story a light and humorous tone, despite all the drama around the romance.
I inhaled this story, loving every moment of it, except Will and his mother. Jack had given them so much, and they seemed to be taking advantage of him and his kindness.
Jack and Maya have something very special, the chemistry was amazing, and what they built together just took my breath away. The story is sweet, adorable, yet filled with passion and adore. They cherish each other, and the love they have for each other, and I just couldn't get enough of these two.
