A billionaire on the hunt for justice meets his match in Amelia Autin's latest Man on a Mission romance

When she's bound, gagged and kidnapped, Alana Richardson is terrified...until a masked avenging angel saves her. There's something unforgettable about the mysterious man. But when she uncovers her hero's identity--drop-dead-gorgeous alpha male Jason Moore--Alana is irresistibly drawn into his dangerous world...

A CEO by day and a vigilante by night, Jason lives and breathes danger. Yet, for the first time, he may have found a woman who understands his commitment to justice at all costs. His hunger for right to prevail could put Alana in harm's way--but one night and one secret will change everything.

With riveting tension and mesmerizing intrigue, the story swept me away to the exotic Hong Kong and the danger-filled world of the RMM and their fight for justice.
Alana Richardson is a clever, capable, and brave heroine who was easy to like and admire. While facing life or death situations she does not freeze or hide away but faces the danger and does everything in her power to escape or rescue the victims, do whatever is needed for survival. She is a daughter of wealthy parents and could be living the easy life of leisure, yet she chooses to cut her own way, make her own path, and turn her back to her parents close-minded and narrow look of life and people around them.
Jason Moore won me over from the first scene and as the story progress, I fell for him more and more each moment. His integrity, sincerity, braveness, and willingness to risk his own life to save others, his need to fight for justice and crime in what ever way needed and his honesty about that fight for equity was admirable and commendable. All he wants is to find the woman who will love him for himself and not for his wealth or position in the society. The past has jilted his heart and made it leery, yet the allure of the connection between him and Alana is too powerful to be ignored.
The plot is well thought out and the natural flow of the story makes it a book hard to put down until you reach the very satisfying conclusion. I loved how Alana and Jason take time, weeks, to get to know each other, the seduction of minds as powerful as the physical attraction. The danger keeps interfering their lives, the troublesome situations, attacks, and kidnappings, the menace of the Eight Tigers power games, creates bone chilling moments.
In midst of the developing romance and escalating violent action, there is an ode to the city of Hong Kong. There is an authentic look at the culture, the people, and the often difficult situation when one is trapped between two cultures, trying to find themselves and their place in the world. I adored this part of the story, it is a genuine, reliable, and true look of the life and living, even the discrimination that a mixed-race person can face.
With the well-balanced mix of action and romance, the story was entertaining. With the character development and the turbulent life situations they face, the story was thought-provoking and encouraging. Overall a  fascinating and gripping story
