A breathtaking story filled with suspenseful adventure and ardent yet sweet romance that puts trust and loyalty to the line and makes you question everything and everyone...
From the very first scene, this story amazed me and allured me in for this fight for life venture that I didn't dare to even expect. Lindsey Garcia is brave, smart, loyal, strong, and so courageous. She is one of those heroines that are easy to admire and like and root for. And the Former special operator Todd Brennan was like the other half of the whole with Lindsey. They complimented each other well by their talents, personalities, and abilities, they got each other, and the bond and attrition between them were palpable and believable from the start.
Todd and Lindsey are delightful together. The passion burns hot, the attraction delectably luscious in the detailed scenes that also demonstrates the growing bond and connection between them. Yes, it has been a while since I read a book with this level of heat, yet the love scenes were well twined into the tale demonstrating the fragile feels and high emotions storming between Todd and Lindsey.
The suspense is filled with twists and unexpected turns, it is brutal, exciting, and the fact that they are fighting the elements of nature, as well as the very dangerous, long-reaching culprits, brought a double the intensity to the tale. The consequences of the action they had to take were serious, bringing yet another layer of fear into the brittle situation.
This story captivated my mind so much so that I ended up inhaling it at once. The peril, the betrayals, the danger, the passion, the tender new relationship, and the charming characters, it all enticed me, and the story delivered beyond my expectations!
A fab romantic suspense read that is easy to recommend
