After having a fun day out in the snow, with a couple degrees below freezing temperatures - nothing better than to come home to hot chocolate and same fresh from the oven pastries.
I used some puff pastry dough, that I had in the freezer (and set in the refrigerator before going out). For the filling of six pastries, I used
2 Tbsp of cream cheese
1 Tbsp of apple preserves
1 tsp of powdered sugar
0,5 tsp cinnamon
I mixed the filling ingredients together, assembled the pastries, and baked them in the middle of the oven (180 C / 350 F) for about 20 minutes.
I'm a chef and a pastry chef, and I love food. Preparing a meal for someone is a show of love; for your craft, for the ingredients, and for the ones eating.
